On behalf of our client, a well-known medical device company, we are writing to you to inquire if you are interested in becoming a new supplier for digital thermometers. One important feature of the digital thermometer must be its high speed of measuring body temperature:
The digital thermometers must measure the temperature within 10 seconds (rectally measured).
We are highly interested in your company and your products and would appreciate your offer.
Furthermore, we kindly ask you to send us a brief description of the technical features of your digital thermometers (product sheet) as well as the completed supplier questionnaire, which you find attached.
Please let us especially know the number of employees working in your company as well as the generated annual turnover. Thank you.
We have to make sure that the requirements in regard to the technical specifications and the quality requirements are met by potential candidates. Please understand that we can not disclose the identity of our client at this stage.
Regarding a business cooperation, please find below a brief description of the requirements for a business cooperation:
We need to know whether you manufacture the thermometers yourself or whether you purchase them from another source
The target price has to be under 1,75 / pc
The annual quantity would be between 500.000 and 600.000 pieces
Incoterm: ex works
Compliance with the requirements of the technical specifications and features of the product described in the document attached
Confirmation that your product and the agreed use of the product as a fever thermometer does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe on any third partys intellectual property rights.
