It gives me great pleasure to inform you that after 7 years, our family has re-launched our business! Our company, Raj Imports, enjoyed many successful years working with your firm until 2009, at which point we elected to wind-down our operation and enjoy our retirement years. While we have loved our time spent with children and grandchildren, we believe we have more to offer the gift-ware industry and have therefore taken the necessary steps to resume our activities- with a new, more agile approach.
We are pleased to inform you that the original founding members and executive leadership from Raj Imports earlier years remain in-tact. Raj, Nirmal, Deepa, and myself all remain full-time participants in this new venture. However, we are thrilled to inform you that our son, Devin, has joined our business- bringing a collection of fresh, innovative, and cutting-edge ideas that will help us attract and retain a more high-end clientele and monetize our product mix for a digital consumer base that was previously under-serviced in our industry.
Raj Imports returns with several key customer relationships in-tact. We are not ‘starting-from-scratch’, by any means. Rather, we bring with us a collection of essential, high-volume retailers and relationships. We will work in tandem with our customers to develop a unique collection of products that fit their desired taste, and will develop a customized product mix. We will serve as their primary point of contact in developing and executing orders with vendors, such as yourselves.
More than anything, however, we are excited by the prospect of earning your relationship, business, and trust once again. While our companies have shared years of experiences in the past, we now look to the future to build a new bridge between our companies and countries, where we can work in unison to deliver the best quality products to our customers across the United States. At this time, I ask for you to please send me digital photos of your product lines, as well as information related to your pricing per unit and pricing related to volume (i.e. price discounts per item based on minimum order volume).
Once we receive this information, we can contact our customers and determine their interest in your collection. At that point, we will order samples to present to our clients, and will contact you regarding an in-person meeting to view your extended collection of items. Additionally, I have attached scans from our old catalog collection to refresh your memory of our company’s history.
