Subject: Help: too poor to afford Eteva
Dear Sir or Madam
I am getting this application written by my former employer in Islamabad.
I am a married woman with three young daughters. I became unemployed ever since I was infected with Hepatitis B in Islamabad. My husband is equally poor.
My entire family is infected with Hepatitis B. My two youngest daughters are only slightly infected, so they have not been advised medication by the doctor. But my oldest daughter and I have been advised to take Eteva, 0.5 mg, marketed by Solace Pharma, a company under you, daily, by Dr Jadoon, a liver specialist of Abbottabad. He has advised me to take it continuously for a year, while my eldest daughter has been advised to use it for a period of two months.
I can not afford to buy this medicine, plus I am unemployed, and I have to ask for charity from some people in order to buy it. I have used Eteva for two months and I find a slow and progressive improvement in my condition.
I request you to please send me six months worth of free Eteva—this would mean six packets of medicine with 30 tablets each—as charity. Alternatively, you could send me one batch of Eteva each month. I will be highly obliged to you for this act of kindness. If you can not do this kindly instruct your dealer or chemist in Abbottabad (where I live)—to sell me the drug at very reduced prices. I shall be highly obliged to you for this act of kindness. May God help you.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
