Hello,
My name is Nolan Burgess, I am the owner and creator of Blue on Black Scrubs. I am a veteran ICU nurse that travels across the US helping hospitals that have staffing shortages or need for ICU nurses. Our company was created by nurses with the goal of producing a scrub line specific to meeting the needs of nurses. While other scrub brands both design and market their scrubs for all healthcare workers from doctors and dental hygienist to veterinarians, our desire is to design and manufacture scrubs for nurses whose needs for scrub technology and functionality vary greatly from other professions in the healthcare field. We are a new company that has the same obstacles to overcome as any new fashion company may encounter, however, we are disciplined and motivated as well as being well funded and having new, original scrub designs and technologies.
We are looking to produce a scrub line with a modern design in terms of fashion yet with the functionality required by the physically demanding nursing job. This will include new scrub pockets and storage designs specific to the nursing job as well as strategically placed release stretch fabrics for the ultimate ease in movement. The fabric will consist of spandex for the waist band and relief selections, with the tops and bottoms consisting of a polyester, viscose and rayon blend (percentages of each will be provided in the future). We will have designs for 2 tops and bottoms for the men and 2 tops and bottoms designs for the women in 6 size ranges and in 4 colors (burgundy, navy blue, ceil blue, royal blue). Our MOQ for each size can be modified depending on your pricing as well as your needs.
Our needs at this stage are the needs of a clothing company in its infancy, needs such as tech pack designing, pattern making, and sampling with the goal of future bulk production. We have designs for the scrubs drew up as well as a rough sewn scrub design better depicting our designs and technologies as a proof of concept in a blank pair of scrubs. We hope, with your help, to translate these drawing and mockups into the next big scrub brand. In terms of future production, we are looking for small batch factories to produce small batch quantities with and develop new ideas. May I ask what your sampling and production cost are roughly as well as your lead times/MOQ?
We understand that all aspects of the manufacturing process take time, and we wish to leave the necessary amount of time for sampling and production to avoid any mishaps, however, I would like to reiterate that funding is not an issue and that we are available to move along with every step of the process at your discretion and with respect to your timeline.
I truly understand the value of time, so thank you very much for the time you took to read this, we look for to working with you in the future.
Best Reguards,
Nolan Burgess
