TOTAL QUANTITY : 240.000 mtons (two hundred fourty thousand metric tons) +/-5% at seller option
the final quantity will be specified by the buyer.

QUALITY : ISO, HACCP, etc and New Crop-2009
SHIPMENTS : Shipment will be based FOB –vessel board at loading port or CNF, Shipment will be 30.000 mton.
SHIPMENT PERIOD : FEBRURY-MARCH 2010
DESTINATION PORT: Umm Qaser port of IRAQ
INSPECTION : International Certificate of Origin and Health for food and other Products Certificate

PACKAGING AND MARKING:
The Rice must be packed in a new anti –slip woven polypropylene bags, each containing 50 kg net weight of right.
The following will be clearly marked on the bags.
Marking should be in both Languages, ARABIC & ENGLISH

SPECIFICATION: Long Grain Well Milled Rice with the following specifications;
. Fit for Human Consumption at final destination (discharge ports ) and are consumed in the country of origin.
. Moisture - up to 14 % maximum (up to 15% allowed with penalty 1=1basis of contract price )
. Broken kernels – up to 5% max.
. Whiteness – no less than 40 degree minimum
. Red kernels or other kinds – up to 1,5 % max.
. Damaged kernels and breakage by heat up to 0.5 %
. Chalky kernels –no more than 4 % preferred, but up to 6% max. allowed,
with a 1=1discount to be deducted from the price for every percentage above 4 % chalky kernels proposed.
. Paddy kernels – up to 0,1% maximum.
. Yellow kenels - up to 0,5% max.
. Foreign matter – up to 0,1% max.
. Pesticide residues to be within international limit
. Heavy metals (mercury lead and cadmium) according to the international limit.
. Free of any abnormal odor that indicates any damage to the rice.
. Not modified genetically (NON GMO )
. Free from dioxin and radiation.
. New crop (2009) free of live and dead insect and their larvae
. Mycotoxin (aflatoxin ) up to 5 ppb maximum.
METHOD ANALYSIS:
The standard method of analysis is to be based on ISO No:7301(detail obtainable from the internet under “international standard organization “ or a recognized equivalent to the satisfaction of the grain board.Analysis will be based on AACC method.
PERFORMANCE BOND: The seller should submit a PB at 2 %,invoice value of goods will be shipment.
PAYMENT TERMS: By irrevocable, Letter of Credit (DL/C) FOB in favor of the seller.
Seller shall be paid 100 % of the contract value against presentation of the following documents;
. Commercial invoice
. Clean on board B/L
. Certificate of origin
. Certificate of inspection( SGS)
. Packing and marking list
. Certificate of Health or Phytosanitary
. Insurance
INSURANCE: in case of CNF contract, seller will be responsible for insurance for all risks.
Commercial commission: 1 usd per intaken qty in favour of golden chartering & brokerage ltd to be signed with ncnd between sellers and our association.
