Subject: QUOTATION FOR UREA FORMALDEHYDE MOULDING COMPOUND
PRODUCTION LINE CAPACITY 4,000 TONS P.A.
Dear Sirs,
1. Wah Nobel Chemicals Ltd is a multinational Public Limited Company with its head office and production plant situated at Wah Cantt, Pakistan. The Company is engaged in manufacture of Formaldehyde and various grades of Urea Formaldehyde glue and resins for the last over 28 years.
2. We are now interested in setting up a production line for manufacture of Urea Formaldehyde Moulding Compound with annual production capacity of 4,000 tons. The production line may utilize the Formaldehyde already being produced at our plant. The planned production line shall be installed in the same premises adjacent to the existing Formaldehyde production plant. The following utilities are already available at the premises:
i) Electricity Supply - 380 Volt, 50 Hz, 4 wire system
ii) Steam Boiler - 2 Tons/Hr Capacity at 6 Bar
iii) Compressed Air
iv) Storage Tank for Formalin - 150 M3 Capacity
3. You are requested to submit your quotation for the required Urea Formaldehyde Moulding Compound production line 4,000 tons annual production capacity. The quotation should be in 2 parts to be submitted in 2 separate sealed envelopes, distinctly marked as follows.
1) Technical Quotation
It must include the following:
i) Full technical detail of the offered production line, with brief description of individual machines/items of equipment. Quantity

i.e. number of each item of equipment for the indicated 4,000 tons production capacity alongwith electric load and other requisite utilities for each item of equipment may be indicated clearly.
ii) The production process with major process control/monitoring parameters should be part of the technical quotation.
iii) Space needed for installation of the offered production line. Approximate dimensions of the building i.e. width, length and height may be indicated. Detailed construction drawings of the building would be needed if the order is placed on your firm.
iv) Maximum quantity of the input materials and the energy consumption for production of each ton of the Urea Formaldehyde Compound of the offered production line.
v) Description of necessarily needed spare parts for at least 2 years operations of the production line.
vi) Number and duration of stay at the plant site of the installation/commissioning experts to be deputed by the supplier.
vii) Any other detail considered necessary for technical evaluation of the offered production line.
2) Commercial Quotation
It must include the following:
i) Item wise price of each offered equipment/machine.
ii) Installation and commissioning charges by the supplier’s experts.
iii) Item wise price of each offered spare parts for 2 years operation of the plant.

iv) Mode of payment if different from irrevocable letter of credit duly established by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of the supplier.
4. Your offer must be sent at the following address to reach necessarily by December 19, 2011, 12.00 hours.

5. The offer must remain valid for placing the order till March 15, 2012. In case of an order the supplier will have to furnish the bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan equal to 10% of the L/C value of the order. The bank guarantee would be submitted within 15 days of opening of L/C and L/C will be operational only on submission and acceptance of the bank guarantee by the purchaser.
