My name is Micheil Gordon and in February 2011, Jon Lee, Jim Williams and myself will depart the UK and cycle 10,000 miles to Hong Kong, to raise money for WaterAid.
All of us are recent Environmental Science graduates from the University of Brighton and strongly believe in the work that WaterAid carry out. Last year WaterAid reached over one million people with safe water, and over two million people with sanitation. The charity’s predominant aim is to increase the number of people who have access to safe drinking water and sanitation. By achieving this goal, the lives of some of the world's poorest populations are improved so they can enjoy improved chances of development and increased standards of living.
Through our campaign we are hoping to raise £25,000 (300,000 HK Dollars) for the charity and are presently investing all of our free time and energy into achieving this goal. As a company specialising in quality cycles and sporting products, we would like to invite you to become one of our principal sponsors. I feel that it would be great to receive sponsorship from a Hong Kong based company as this is where the trip will end.
