Dear Sir/Madam, We are from Angkasa Consulting Services Sdn. Bhd., we are currently doing a designing work for water treatment plant at Melaka. We would like to introduce mechanical thickener for our sludge treatment. The sludge produce from the treated water will be approximately 200m3 per hour. We would like to know that is that your company is interested on giving us a quotation for the mechanical sludge thickener? And we needed the professional suggestion from your company to select the most suitable product/type of mechanical sludge thickener for our water treatment plant. The following is some basic information of the plant:- 1) Quantity of Sludge Production. The sludge produce from the treated water will be approximately 200m3 per hour. We would like to propose to use 3 thickeners (2 duty, 1 standby), so each thickener must be able to cater for at least capacity of 100m3 per hour. 2) Sludge Concentration. The inlet sludge concentration is approximately 0.5% to 0.6%, and we are aiming for the outlet sludge to have a concentration of approximately 2-3%. 3) Effluent Discharge Standard. This site area is subject to Effluent Discharge Standard B. We need to confirm that is the effluent discharge from the thickener is complying with this standard?? (see attached PDF file for the effluent discharge standard) 4) Polymer Consumption. We would like to know the quantity of polymer consumption for the thickener (how many kg of polymer consume per 1 tonne of sludge). 5) Sizing of the Mechanical Thickener. We need to know the exact sizing of the thickener as the current site is very congested, and we want to confirm that the size of the mechanical thickener can fit into the available spaces. 6) Detail Flow Diagram. We hope to get a detail flow diagram for the mechanical thickener system. This will help us to understand detail operation of the whole system.
