We just purchased the AO-30RC Air Shocks. They look really nice.
I have a technical question and I hope you can help.
1) Do you have a table indicating the pre-load force and the spring rate for different psi pressures in the main chamber? We assume the table you show in page 7 in the instruction book indicated typical Lbs weight for a person on a bicycle so what we are after is the air shocks direct force and spring rate using different pressures.
2) We intend to use the air-shock in a different environment (not a bicycle) and we have a need to reduce the pre-load force to 600 Newtons (about 60 Kg or 130 Lbs) at normal operating load. We assume that we have to reduce the main chamber pressure to 45 to 50 psi. You indicate in your instructions that the Negative air chamber should not be less than 50 psi. If I reduce the Main air chamber below 50 psi (say 40 psi) should I keep the negative air chamber at 50 psi or should that also be reduced to say 40 psi?
We look very much forward to get your response. The bicycled distributor in Australia was helpful bust could not answer the above questions so I hope you can help us.
Thanks you in advance
Best Regards
