Sub : Non Refund Of Secority Deposit Sir, This may be brought to your notice that the undersigned in response to your advertisement dated August 8, 2003 in Assam Tribune had applied for C&FA in Assam and had entered into an agreement on 30th July,2003. Accordingly a refundable security deposit of Rs 5 lakhs in 2 installment was paid. Subsequently due to adverse business condition the C&FA operation was stopped and necessary papers and license was deposited to the concerned authority. It may be stated that despite our several request made to your office, you have not yet refunded our Security deposit which has been stated to the Income Tax department on a regular enquiry. Under the circumstances you are once again requested to apprise us about the status of the Security deposit which will us to sort out the dispute at an early date.
