Greetings from Manila, I hope this email finds you fit and well. I am no longer working with Brendan at CNi and am now working for a company called Primeline whom I used to work for before I joined CNi. I am their new product sourcing manager here and we are looking for as seen on TV items and I thought that maybe we could do some business together again at long last?
I am looking for demonstration products for in-store retail, which I will be creating short form media for in addition to training demonstrators to sell primarily through Watson’s pharmacies here in the Philippines, they currently have over 50 outlets and this business is expanding to over 70 outlets in the coming months. They also have over 70 Ace Hardware and SM Department store Outlets. Primeline, has won the best electrical supplier to Watson’s for the last 5 years in a row and is currently the biggest distributor of JML products in Asia, they do move very large quantities.
As such, I am looking for the following:
1) New TV items that are hot and related to health and beauty or household etc.
2) Ceramic and Ionic hair dryers
3) Vacuum cleaners
4) Any of your products that you are doing that you have created short form media for already
As you are aware, the Philippines is very price sensitive, so cost is always going to be an issue, however quality is always going to be a concern. I am looking for good prices but not necessarily the cheapest, so that we can get the right sort of quality and avoid headaches further down the line, which will be important with the sort of quantities that they are currently moving. For example, they are currently selling over 10,000 hair straighteners per month in their existing outlets. This is why I am looking at related health and beauty products which I can easily sell in their existing outlets.
Therefore I would appreciate it if you could get back to me with some available products and prices, so we can request samples and get them approved for trial in some of the outlets, to get the ball rolling and do some decent business together?
