My partner and I are creating a new brand in France, willing to create and sell jeans. We are finishing the book/specifications to set our requirements.
So, because we are looking for a factory to manufacturate our products, allow me to ask you some questions.
First of all, I saw that you manufacturate jeans ? Is this your principal activity ? Are you also used to work with french companies (my partner and I are french) ?
As you may understand, for a start, we will not buy 10 000 pieces. We may start with 600 or 800. So far, if we have marketing skills, we are not designers, so we are not able to make a pattern. I suppose someone might have this skill in your team ? But I must inform you that our “book” will be precise so that it will be easy to make the pattern. More than that, we have with us the exact model that we want in terms of “cut”.
I’m aware that it might not be possible for you to tell me a price for 600 or 800 pieces of jean without seeing our specifications in terms of quality, design... But, you may tell me, for a basic jean, a price by unit for 600 or a 800 pieces order.
Also, may you tell me the delay you usually take to make and send the manufactured products ? And also, for a prototype, do you have a standard price for each one you make ?
