metal strap clips have rusted

I recently bought a curvation bra, 9904566 38D 85. Since I seldom wear a bra due to breathing problems, this bra has only been washed twice, and already the metal strap clips have rusted and stained the straps. This rust staining shows through light coloured clothing, which is what I bought the bra to wear with.
