Dear ladies and gentlemen,
Today I’m contacting you as we are looking for a potential and reliable supplier of silk neckties. We are aware of the fact that the company Maidilang has a strong position in the market and that you have a long and intensive experience in working with international customers. Accordingly we believe that you will show the professionality and reliability which unfortunately a large number of chinese companies doesn’t show.
Our company owns approx.70 menswear shops in Poland (www.willsoor.pl) . During the past two days we had our big buying meeting in which we decided with whom to place the A/W 2011 orders. We are purchasing shirts, sweaters, neckties, scarves, shawls, cufflinks and other products as well. The above mentioned products had been mainly purchased from European suppliers before-now we are shifting them and preferably source out of China. While the company is based in Poland, the buying is done through me, as I’m the responsible buying agent for all products because of my long lasting experience in the textile market and with China.
Regarding neckties, please be informed that we decided to source silk from two companies, in order to have two handwritings. So far we have selected one other global player of whom we have received a very large range these days to select from. Another company was turned down as their appearance was not professional and trustworthy. For polyester we have selected two other companies in Shengzhou which, by far, should not reach the design-standard of a globally positioned and orientated company like yours. This exactly was the aim as the final consumer should also be able to clearly distinguish between our silk and poly ranges.
In case you are interested in a co-operation with our company, it will be necessary to get the following from you in order to be able to order from you soon:
1. A large range of silk designs. Designwise the polish market requires
50% solids and semisolids (preferably interesting bindings), 20% stripes (not very wide/not very open), 20% small neats, 10% silk/wool or pure wool
2. 3-4 silk ties to evaluate your workmanship and to get an idea about different linings that you offer.
3. A price list
4. An overview about your terms of payment, terms of delivery, minimums, delivery times etc.
5. As the owner of our company needs to be convinced (by me) that silk/wool and pure wool ties will be a VERY important theme for A/W 2011, it would be helpful to receive some sample ties in this quality as well. Readymade ties in these qualities will certainly be much more convinceable than a tiny cutting. These ties can be returned after our selection. (I will attach some pictures of the styles we are looking for in this quality)
6. A colour-card of yours. As I’m an expert in this matter, I will partly re-colour the designs after the main selection in order to suit the polish taste and requirements.
As we would like to proceed with this theme soonest, please revert to me asap and advise if and how soon you can send out a wide range to select from.
We are very much looking forward to a hopefully long lasting and mutual co-operation.
Kind regards
Markus
