I am an Indian aged, 46 years and having 23 years experience on Multifourdrinier Paper machine-Multicylinder machine / Stock preparation with a Post-Graduation Honours degree in Pulp and Paper technology (IIT Roorkee)/1988. I have worked with recycled waste paper and other wood -based /non-wood based raw materials towards production of almost all grades of paper in all grammage ranges, especially newsprint, kraft paper, base paper for cartons, crepe/Kraft paper for electrical insulation.
I commissioned a 50 TPD Duplex Paper Board plant on a Cylinder machine in Bahrain (1999-2000).
My assignment in Iran was to upgrade production on a 100 Tpd machine producing testliner kraft grades for carton industry that I successfully completed (2000-2001).
I also commissioned a 150 tpd waste paper OCC based pulp mill in MEL papers in Greece, September 2002. I have the experience of duplex boards/kraft paper/commercial grades.
Besides this, I have hands on experience of trouble shooting/ papermaking problems on modern wide high speed paper machines on DCS/QCS.
My most recent job was in a paper mill in Dubai-Jebel Ali Free Zone (2006-2008) producing 150 TPD of Testliner and Fluting Media.
I am presently engaged in a paper mill in Bangalore India as General Manager (Operations) in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer since January 2008- June 2011, producing Electrical Grades of Press Paper and Press Board for the Transformer Industry and Filter Papers for Automobile Industry.
