A large late 19th Century English centre seconds fusee lever in a silver open face case with Masonic dedication. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, Numbered off white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold hands. Substantial plain silver open face case with ribbed middle, the back engraved with a large oval cartouche bearing the monogram WHO. Gold hinges and chronograph slide which stops the watch. Wound and set through the silver cuvette which bears the engraved dedication; Presented to Bro. Wm Hy Oates, P. A. G. M. By Lodge 57& other Lodges& Friends in the Halifax District, Bolton Unity, as a recognition of his past Services& of his term as Grand President of the order in 1890-1 - 19th March 1892.
