About us | We provide different types of contract to accommodate the different needs of the buyers, all of our contracts are written under ucc, icc, ciq, iml, iba, cigs and USA laws and regulations, for everyone's protection and don't accept any revisions as it would violate those standards. We currently work with occasional spot sale offers; we have continuous supply from various sources, we are very reliable and as you will notice we have the best prices in the world. There are several origins available (south Africa, Central Europe, North Africa, etc. ) and prices vary among them according to origin and monthly volume. Buyer can choose his preferred origin and goods can be delivered CIF any safe port any where in the world. Currently we have over 50 million MT of HMS 1&2 (isri 200-206) and rail scrap (r50-r65). The rails can be cut to the length the buyer wants. The seller only has to know that in advance. Letter of credit terms Unconditional, irrevocable, confirmed, revolving, documentary letter of credit payable 100% at sight of commercial invoice and clean on board Ocean bill of lading (obol), with a validity of 12+3 months (in case of delays). It must be confirmed by seller's advising bank (either wachovia/first union national bank or deutsche bank of new York or of frankfurt). Performance bond The operative pb is a stand-by letter of credit (sblc) for 2% of one month's shipment and valid for 12+3 months, issued when funds for the first shipment are cleared at seller's advising bank. However, before this operative pb there is a non-operative pb issued, which depends on the contract type: 1) for the standard contract: Seller issues a 2% corporate pb against the L/c or,2% bank pb against 3% good faith deposit. 2) for the deposit and cash contracts: Seller issues pbg within the signed and sealed contract. Inspection - sgs/ccic/ciq quality and quantity certificates and certificate of origin will accompany the goods in the ship and will also be mailed to the buyer directly from the respective organization. These documents are not required for payment, except under the deposit contract. - yard visits only possible under the deposit contract. In this case, the seller will fly the buyer around the yard(s) of the preferred origin, on a private jet, to inspect and contract the product of his choice. - likewise, buyer's inspection at the port of loading is only accepted under the deposit contract. LOI must include (please use this as a check list): 1. Buyer's full company name, address, tel, fax and email 2. Signatory name 3. Ship-to company's full details (if different from buyer). This is the company that receives the product at destination. 4. Type of product requested 5. Target price/MT CIF 6. Quantity/month (minimum 30.000mt/month) 7. Length of contract (minimum 1 year) 8. Preferred origin 9. Country of destination 10. Unloading port 11. Number of banking days required to open lc 12. Complete bank details (name, address, contact officer, tel, fax) 13. Account holder 14. Account number 15. Swift code Upon receipt of this LOI the final sales contract is sent for buyer's signature. |
