About us | Long term customer relationship as base of our business Classic has built up a solid relationship with its clients based on the following principles: A. Forecasts and order placement with nokia in advance As neither Nokia nor classic carries stock, our business is based on future orders placed with nokia based on forecasts from our clients. In this way we can ensure availability when it is required without the need for clients to try and source it on the open market. B. Seven working day advance payment Classic has a standing arrangement with Nokia whereby payment for confirmed orders is made seven working days in advance of delivery date from the relevant nokia factory. Products normally get shipped from the factory on the quoted delivery date and arrive two to three days later in Dubai for transshipment by the customer. C. Special relationship with Nokia Due to the above two principles classic has been able to negotiate certain benefits to its customers, which include: - good allocation of new or popular models which are offered to our relationship customers first. - special deals from time to time with very favourable prices for volume stock. Order fulfillment The process to fulfill orders are as follows: 1. Customer provides forecasts/orders with classic. 2. Classic transfers these as orders via the nokia online system(nol)classic will place orders with delivery date three weeks in advance of current date as we can not cancell orders within two weeks from delivery date. 3. Nokia planners schedule these orders according to customer requirements, and inform classic about availability and delivery dates. 4. Classic confirms this with the customer. 5. Seven working days prior to delivery date customer transfers payment to classic, who immediately transfers payment to nokia. 6. One day before delivery from the Nokia factory(normally)classic receives the imei numbers from nokia which is in turn emailed to the customer. 7. On day of delivery from the Nokia factory classic receives awb and flight details, and notifies both danzas in Dubai as well as the customer. 8. Goods normally arrive in Dubai two to three days from delivery date, to be cleared and transhipped by the customer. |
