| About us | All candles are handmoulded and intricately made using a high grade of paraffin wax. Products like our woven and applique candles are usually not seen in other markets as they are too difficult to make. When the candles are set alight they give a beautiful glow from the inside because of the outer layer of multicolored paraffin. We have also perfected the art of hurricane candles. These candles are hollow inside and are set alight by using a tealight inside. The outer layer, like our candles, is intricately asserted by hand in different designs. They are recycable as the sides will not melt. The hurricane candles come in 3 sizes. Because of this intricate process we are not the cheapest in the market - far from actually, but we have a product we are sure you will not find anywhere else in the market. Retailers have all over the world been selling boring scraped or moulded pillar candles for over 3000 years - isn't it about time we get on to level 2 in candlemaking? 5% of the proceeds of doc's candles profit goes back to our youngest workers to help in night-school. This pays for tuition, schoolpapers and other expenses they have in highschool and college. Doc's candles currently employs 50 workers and has 15 workers under this special scheme.
