| About us | Easy Core Ducting is a range of fully flexible uninsulated Metallised/Aluminium polyester laminated ducting, which has been specially designed for HVAC market. Because of its flexibility it is easy to connect to either round or oval ducting. Construction Easy Core Ducting is multi-ply reinforced Metallised/Aluminium and polyester laminated ducting with an encapsulated high tensile steel wire helix. Advantages Supplied in standard sizes of 3,6&10 meters length. Easy to connect to either round or oval ducting. Suitable to run through an unconditioned space Ensures a decreased noise level over rigid duct. No special tools required for cutting or fixing. In the event of a fire no toxic gases are emitted. The products have been successfully fire resistance tested. Applications - Fresh Air Intakes - Exhausting Easy Insulated Ducting This ducting is used when the run goes through an unconditioned space. In general, flexible ducting will insure a decreased noise level over rigid duct. This state of the art Easy Ducting product consists of a flexible helix core made of 2 ply polyester, surrounded by a blanket of polyester fibre insulation, jacketed by a heavy duty, fire retardant grey polyethylene vapour/Metallised Plastic/Aluminium Plastic barrier. Flexible insulated ducting can be installed in place of galvanized pipe in most applications. In addition, due to its flexible nature, the need for elbows is eliminated, allowing for ease of installation in difficult to reach areas. It cuts easily with a knife and snips. The insulation blanket and vapour barrier jacket helps reduce heat loss and condensation build-up. The product is available in most diameters and is boxed in compressed 6mtrs or 10mtrs lengths. Numerous applications include: - Air Conditioning - Fresh Air Intakes - Heating - Exhausting High strength flame retardant Metallised/Aluminium thermal sealed to a high tensile steel wire helix makes this a perfect choice for applications delivering fresh air or venting work areas. The Easy Insulation Ducting is available in diameters from 4" to 24" or 100mm to 600mm, lengths of 3mtrs to 10mtrs and with various end treatments. Light weight, very durable and available directly from the manufacturer. Polyester insulation batts Polyester batts are resilient and compressible insulation manufactured to a wide range of r-values&s-product. They are user friendly, inherently moisture resistant and will not break down. Polyester batts are non-allergenic, odourless, require no protective clothing to install and are easy to install. The product is 100% polyester, long chain synthetic polymer fibres and the chemical entity is composed of carbon-hydrogen oxygen. Thermal insulation polyester batts come in different widths to suit standard construction. By incorporating thermal insulation in the building structure, the occupants experience increased comfort and at the same time the amount of energy used is minimised. Polyester batts are designed to keep heat within a building in winter and slowing the flow of heat into the building in summer. Insulation can cut the cost of heating and cooling by over 40%. Insulating the ceiling of a house has the potential to saving 20-30% on heating and cooling bills. Adding r1.5 insulation to external walls gives an additional 10-20% saving. Air conditioning system capital and running costs can be minimised by using adequate insulation in the building envelope. Polyester is an excellent sound absorber and can assist in reducing noise transmission through walls, ceilings and floors, making the home or work environment quieter; ideal product for cinemas, garages, tunnels etc. |
