We are the largest player in the Spanish market in volume terms, with a share of 14% in 2003. Our company has a strong presence in both audio and video products, but especially in computers, televisions and portable audio. Innovation, added value and strong investment in advertising and promotions, combined with a wide distribution network, have been fundamental factors underpinning our company's success throughout the world. Our consumer electronics market in Spain and the US increased by 2.9% in volume terms in 2003, to just over 18 million units sold. Strong sales of computers, laptops, DVD players/recorders, digital cameras and home cinema systems were the main driving factor. |
