F. Lli voza S. R. L. Is one of the oldest food industries in Italy. Founded, in the province of campania, by damiano and cosimo towards the end of the 1970's, these two brothers, after repeated attempts to find a quality product, had the good foresight to adopt the traditional technique of conserving tomatoes by putting them in glass bottles and, in particular, "mashed tomatoes". In the best, tried and proven, household tradition, they came up with a product that had the same freshness and typical aroma as that produced in family homes in the south of Italy. Industrial procedures moreover, ensured greater product hygiene and an excellent flavour. Thus, in 1980, a 25.000 sqare metre botting plant was set up on the sele plain in eboli, surrounded by fertile fields yelding every kind of produce that the rich soil can offer. One of the features that distinguishes our company and the quality of its productsis precisely this fact; that it is so close to the area of cultivation that harvesting and transformation of the produce can be carried out in a very brief time, ensuring the conservation of the freshness, naturalness, taste as well as the colour of the produce. The brothers, damiano and cosimo, immediately had enormus success and attracted the attention of some of the largest groups in the food sector with whom they established long-lasting and profitable business relationships. The tecnique of conserving tomatoes as is done in family homes means that our products are appreciated and highly rated not only in Italy but also abroad.1997 was an important landmark in the long history of f. Lli voza S. R. L control of the company passed into the hands of the ferrante family which had already been operating in the agricoltural sector and in the sector of food transformation. In a few years the company reached a high-level of development, establishing itself firmly as one of the best-known producers of conserved foods. Since its mashed tomatoes had reached such a high level of quality, the ferrante family recognised the need to expand its production and 1999 they began producing organic mashed tomatoes which were immediately succesfull on the market, so much so, that the ferrante family decided to increase its range of organic produce with peeled tomatoes, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, ready-to-use-sauces, legumes etc. As the following will illustrate. These products, which are particulary popular abroad, have allowed f. Lli voza S. R. L to occupy an important in many european countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland, Ireland and england as well as given us the opportunity to export to selected markets in Canada and Australia.
