The drop hammer and press forged shops are equipped with necessary quality control equipment and laboratory to test the materials for composition before releasing the same for forging. Crack detection test of individual forging is carried out, where specified for critical components by the equipment manufacturer. All materials are procured with the manufacturers test certificate and tested to confirm the chemical/metallurgical properties including hardness. Metals india undertakes heat treatment of both ferrous and non-ferrous automobile components/dies. Equipped with pneumatically operated pusher type automatic continuos furnace and fluidized bed furnace. We undertake neutral hardening, nitro carborizing, carbo nitriding, isothermal stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, hardening and tempering. |
