Since 1997 we have specialised in ethnically produced,100% alcohol, animal and preservative free body care products, and African handcrafted furniture. The furniture is based upon traditional African designs. They are individually handmade by craftsmen and women using hard woods from managed forests and cowhide from African nomads. Our beyond organic products are the result of research into ancient African herbal remedies. Unlike most conventional body care products, the ingredients are not cultivated but are herbs and oils gathered from African rain forests. Grasslands & savannah believes in a direct and fair trading contract with African artisans; without patronising the people or believing that we know their lives and their environment better than they do.
