About us | 1. The buyer(refinery/agent or trading company) and the seller(nnpc allotted) sign contract agreement. 2. Buyer issues a bank endorsed i. C. P. O and stand by letter of credit to sellers bank. 3. Seller places a 2% performance bond to buyer covering an agreed sum in liability guarantee. 4. Buyer provides vessels particulars, along with charter part agreement or evidence of vessel ownership to the seller for vessel clearance and programming.(the vessel upon confirmation of clearance programming shall be available within bonny territorial waters Within(5) five working days. 5. Seller provides buyer with cargo allocation information, along with the applicable snl number upon terminal programming. 6. Agency clears the buyer's vessel and bonny terminal programmes, and call in vessel for loading within three days. 7. Upon comfirmation at bonny terminal by vessel master, buyer opens a letter of credit to seller. 8. An independent(sgs) inspector appointed by the buyer monitors the loading of cargo ascertains the q& q and reports back the same to buyer and seller. Copies of cargo shipping documents are provided to the buyer. 9. Payments shall be made and effected for this shipping in us dollars by swift telegraphic wire transfer without deduction, set - off or counterclaim, within 3(three) international banking days against presentation to the buyer's bank of 1(one) original and 3(three)copies of the "q& q" and shipping documents. In witness where of the parties hereto have executed and dated this contract agreement under the hand and seal of it's duly authorized officer. For this agreement seller and buyer accept validity via transmission by fax or by electronic document transmission(edt). |
