The disinfection has been proven scientifically. There is no more need to treat water with chlorine anymore. UV disinfection uses a special ratio of emmission(wavelength254nm) from the natural solar spectrum for the disinfection of drinking water. Advantage: The disinfection method is absolutely taste and odorless. And more, the eventually existing taste of chlorine is reduced. This very energy-rich emmission produces a photochemical reaction in the cells of bacteria, viruses, yeasts, algae and other harmful microorganisms which prevents vital processes from occuring. Furthermore, by using special UVC emitters and electronic ballasts of latest technology, VISADES UV Disinfection Systems are optimally designed for highest efficiency to keep the operating costs at a minimum. The control device gives a complete overview of the operation process, there is a operation signal for each emitter, a display showing the actual irradiation, a membrane keyboard for maintainance, another display for occuring messages and controls two magnetic valves or gate valves where one is closed at any failure and the other one opened for flushing. Disinfection is monitored continuously by a sensor built into our devices. VISADES UV-Disinfection Systems are compatible to all common process control systems via Gateways, so there is no need to build binary interfaces. There is also an SMS(ShortMessage Service) Module available to send eventual failure signals to one or more cell phones. The other way you can send messages to the Module and ask for operation parameters like the actual irradiance. Disinfection occuors by a flowthrough method, which simply integrates the UV System at the beginning of the piping system. Every one of our models is designed for a specific flowrange, depending on the UV transparency at 254nm wavelength. At the moment we have seven models, ranging from a flow rate of 1,50 up to 57m3/h(cubicmeters per hour). There is one model in development which will e able to disinfect up to 150m3/h. |
