Kenya Direct
About us | Hence, the value KD brings as the middle man, speaking both languages, understanding both cultures as well as business and very honest and hard working. The farmer will not cut the flowers from the field without payment(most of them). The distributor won't pay for the flowers until he sees them and he also wants some credit. Hence, more value added by the agent, Kenya Direct. Kenya Direct knows which farmers live up to their end of any bargain and which do not; which ones have quality product and which ones offer a good value; which ones are growing which new varieties, etc. Kenya is the 3rd largest producer of fresh cut flowers in the world, with Netherlands and Ecuador leading the pack. And Kenya is increasing its production capacity as we speak. Kenya grows many different varieties and stem lengths. From 30 cm to 90 cm but not all varieties can be grown to 90 cm and not all farmers will cut certain varieties at 30cm when they can let them grow a bit longer and sell them at 60 or 70 cm. When selling Kenyan roses, we sell the concept that it is better to deal directly with the source then to deal through the auction as your price and quality will be a constant. Easier to run your business that way. And the Kenyan rose is a beautiful product,(wild, lush and sexy, like the women). And they look different than roses from other countries like, Ecuador, Colombia and Netherlands. Some will not appreciate the difference but most will and have. We welcome sincere enquiries from serious potential buyers. |
