| About us | The Company is a wholly owned Chinese- Filipino company engaged primarily in the manufacture of processed fruit, specifically concentrates and purees, using various fruits as raw materials. The fruits used include mango, guyabano (soursop), banana, guava, and pineapple. These fruits are being utilized due to their quality and abundance in the Philippines. Currently, the Companys main products are mango puree and concentrates, guava puree, and other processed tropical fruit products. To add to its existing products, KLT also plans to produce pineapple juice and concentrates in the near future. In addition to fruit purees and concentrates, KLT also manufactures processed red beans for export to Japan. Together with its twenty- years loyal Japanese customer, KLT projects tremendous growth opportunity in this product line within the next five years. Further, KLT also distributes Floridas Natural brand of orange, lemonade and grapefruit juices in the domestic market under a licensing agreement with Citrus World, INC. (CWI), a major Florida fruit growers co-operative. In partnership with CWI, KLT aims to penetrate the larger Asian market, more specifically, China for the production, sales and distribution of the juice products. To achieve this, KLT plans to tie up with a Chinese company who has a strong distribution network as well as the financial resources to promote the products. To complement the local distribution of the Floridas Natural juice products, KLT also entered into a distribution agreement with West Farm Foods, INC. Producer of Darigold dairy products, to sell imported fresh milk in the local market at competitive prices. |
