Korounos initiated in the early 90's when a small number of Maths and Science teachers developed software for tracking pupils and developing new teaching methodologies using ICT. As the success of Korounos grew it was approched by a number of manufacturers. Staying true to its core beleive of providing cutting edge technologies and solutions the online catalogue came into being. Korounos has many manufacturers globaly and produces its own products. We aim to use traditional manufaturing techniques for our art and crafts section maintianing age old skills and deploying hi tech in third world countries allowing culture and technology to thrive together.
