About us | Caracteristics: The natural lapis lazuli pigment diferentiates itself from its synthetic counterpart by the vibracy of the blue that it produces. The natural pigment, large in size, has an irregular and angular Shape ; with its multiple surfaces it reacts to light like a finely faceted diamond, therby producing an ever changing display of rich vibrant blues. This create a threedimensional, gemlike effect which is not possible with the very small, round and uniformly shaped particles of the synthetic ultramarin blue pigment. Markets: Lacquers on metals Inks: The size of the lazurite crystals is impossible to mimic artificially Paints: Mixing the pigments with normal bases, this resulting paint can be applied on vehicles, walls and other surfaces. |
