Unfortunately, in August of 1992, hurricane Andrew devastated the Miami-Dade area and completely destroyed the Silver Vase facilities. Mr. Nat Deleons and his team saw an opportunity rather than a setback and with great deal of effort they were able not only to rebuild their greenhouses in a short time but also turn their company into one of the most innovative potted plant growers in North America. The state-of-the-art facility experienced a tremendous growth, increasing yearly production from 400,000 units in 1997 nearly 2 million units in 2004. Today the fully robotized and environmentally friendly greenhouse operation extends to nearly 1 million square feet across several locations in United States and Canada. The company started operating its own distribution trucks in 2004, serving both the retail and wholesale sides of the green industry. Our flawless production processes along with our high degree of efficiency in supply chain management allow us to deliver high quality products to markets far away from where we produce them. We are pioneers in the implementation of environmental control and automated greenhouse technology. This efficiency makes us the leading company in the controlled flowering of Phalaenopsis Orchids, assuring quality, and on time delivery for any target date. In addition, our integrated pest management and residue free plants reflect our continuing commitment to quality and the best production practices.
