Oando plc, Nigeria is the second largest oil firm in west Africa and the 10th largest oil firm in the world with a market capitalization of 5,000 billion dollars at the end of 2004, trading 718 equities from 65 different sectors. Oando plc is a subsidiary of Nigeria national petroleum corporation(nnpc)which are both govemental oil firms, we deal on crude oil, we export to countries abroad and also to individual oil firms abroad. As at this year 2005 we have exported about 2 billion barrels of oil at a cheaper rate of 52 dollars per barrel. We have the blco, REBCO, etc. We also have shares to sell in this oil company about 873.5 million issued shares of 50 kobo each held by 495,385 individual share holders. Interested foreign oil firms and agents who have the link to oil buyers abroad will also have there percentage. |
