A world renown Charity established for over 80 years, recognised by most Countries for the work they do in the cause they serve. They are strictly a Charity, fund raising throughout each year through the Poppy Appeal Fund which consists of the Poppy Appeal in November of each Year and also various fund raising events which take place all year round and include corporate donations, various fund raising events through sport, such as the London Marathon a horse racing day in which a Legion owned horse takes part in one race, plus many other various minor events run by over 900 branches throughout the UK and 10 districts in other European Countries.
