| About us | Although our main US office is located in Orange County, California we maintain a satellite office in Oakland, CA and conduct business in varied places such as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Our customers hail from a variety of countries including China, Indonesia, Taiwan and Vietnam. In the one year Uniforce has been in business we have gone from exporting 5 containers per month to exporting 125 this past month. In addition to our export business Uniforce has recently begun importing material from our Asian mills. Such items include prime cold-rolled, galvanized, and pre-painted coils. One parent company, Southern Materials Holding Company (SMC), is headquartered in Hong Kong. This company oversees eight steel mills scattered throughout Taiwan, with individual annual production capacities ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 tons. This in itself is remarkable considering SMC was only founded in 1994. SMC maintains offices in varied places such as England, North America, Australia, India and a myriad of other offices throughout South East Asia. New Square Industrial Company, founded at about the same time as SMC, is headquartered in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. In the little time it has been in existence New Square has established itself as Taiwan's second largest exporter. As you can see Uniforce International has a strong foundation in these two companies. Between SMC's production capabilities and New Square's exportation logistical operation there are few obstacles that need to be overcome in the often volatile steel market. Uniforce enjoys a comfortable financial support system while at the same time benefiting from the connections SMC and New Square have established in South East Asia and around the world. |
