Manufacturing Facilities : Process House Textiles being the first venture of the Chiripal Group, it is also the most spread out and vast business division. Manufacturing facilities for textiles are setup and managed at Shanti Processors Ltd. and Vishal Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. These units adhere to the highest international standards and have the technical capability to deliver products of international specification. A variety of processing machines enable these two modern process houses to process almost every kind of fabric from the heaviest to the finest count, of any blend. These manufacturing facilities are equipped with numerous machinery and the most modern, high quality technology for the production of Apparel Textiles, Home Textiles, Furnishing fabrics. There are different divisions like The knits division, The polar fleece division The flock division, fabric processing division and petrochemical unit. Knitting Division The knits division started operating in May 2000 with a production capacity of 200 tons of fabric per month. There are imported circular knitting, double jersey and terry machines. The unit is also housed with a range of wet chemical processes, dry processing, mercerizing, brushing, de-sizing, jumbo, raising, peach, and heat-setting machines to name a few. Polar Fleece division The Polar Fleece production unit was set up in February 2001. This unit has a production capacity of 450 tons a month of fleece knitted on imported terry machines. The unit is capable of manufacturing diverse qualities like Spun polar fleece, Micro polar fleece and Drop-needle polar fleece in 140 to 350 GSM range. This fabric is manufactured and processed in-house. Finishes such as double-sided brushing with one side / both sides anti-pilling treatment are imparted based on specifications and the end use of the fabric. Flock Printing unit Started in October 2001, the Flock printing plant has a fully integrated in-house setup that takes care of the entire process from grey feeding to packing. The imported machines for flock printing, tow cutting dyeing are fed with tow procured from France. The installed production capacity is 5 lac meters a month. Petrochemicals The Group also produces a number of petrochemical products through a joint venture company Nova Petrochemicals Ltd. and group company Chiripal Petrochemicals Ltd. These units manufacture a range of petrochemical products like partially oriented, micro-filament, draw twisted and texturised yarns. This ensures the supply of raw materials, required for the manufacturing various fabrics, in the desired quantity, quality and time. |
