Shaoxing Fuqing Health Products Co., Ltd. was founded in 1996 as a Sino-Australian Joint Venture Business professionally engaged in production of surgical disposables. Since its foundation, it has been getting constant support in finance and management and technology from its main overseas investors. With the preliminary successful operation of the business, the partners of the JV decided in 1999 to expand the production capacity and update the production facility in order to meet the challenging requirements of the international markets. The expansion project started in the middle of 1999 and finished in 2000, resulting in a modern production facility and greater production capacity. The company now has workshop space of 4,000M2 with one clean room of Class II-A and three clean rooms of Class I, equipped with central air-conditioning and air-pressure adjusting systems. The exchange of air, movement of material and staff are under strict control, ensuring an environment of production up to the European standards. A large warehouse of 2,000 M2 holds enough raw material in stock to facilitate production and quick delivery of special orders from our customers around the world. A three-story office building with modern office equipments and staffed by experienced management promises high efficiency and good sales service. The establishment of the internal computer system and documents filing system greatly facilitates the exchange of information both internally and externally. With the updating of the new facility and establishment of an efficient management system, the company got ISO9002 and EN46002 certification from T V in August 2000 and has been authorized to use CE0123. All this has greatly helped to increase the sale of our products at the international market. Our sales net-work has now extended into 28 countries around the world, with the sale largely concentrated in Europe and Australia. The annual turnover is around USD 8 million. The company now produces and distributes the following lines of products: 1. Cotton gauze swabs of different specifications, plain, coloured, with or without x-ray detectable, both sterile and non-sterile, in bulk and in pouch; 2. Cotton abdominal sponges of different sizes, stitched & taped, in bulk or tied in 5's; or in pouches, both non-sterile and sterile. 3. Conforming bandages of various specifications of cotton or viscose and polyamide composition. 4. Gauze absorbent in roll; 5. Cotton packing gauze of different sizes, with or without x-ray detectable; 6. Cotton wound dressings of small packs No.13,14,15; 7. Triangular bandages, non-woven, calico or cotton; 8. Non-woven swabs of different sizes, mesh patterns,30g/m2, 40g/m2, 45g/m2, 100% viscose or 33% polyester and 67% viscose; 9. Paraffin gauze dressing with light or normal loading. 10. Cotton wool rolls and Balls 11. Surgical gowns and isolation gowns; 12. Adhesive tapes of various base materials, cotton, PE, non-woven.
