Expansion of the mill resulted in the buying of one more processing mill ie. The shreenathji dall mill which now has become the primary name of the processing mill. State of art equipments and our manufacturing process Our manufacturing process ensures that only superior quality product reaches the customers. We have designed quality checks at different levels to keep a strict control on the output of our units. We have our processing plant in vasad. Our processing capacity is about 3500mt per one season. We process the toor dall in a computerized cleaning plant which gives the best quality, processed through the best available machinery from all over the world like sortex (england), aspiration channel (germany) and mitr classifier (germany). The first stage involves making sure that quality raw material is produced for processing. As toor dall is an agricultural product, quality of raw material differ from season to season. But we purchase selected quality of toor and each every bag is checked at the time of unloading of pigeon peas at our processing unit. We make sure that most of our purchase is done during season when good quality is procured direct from the farmers. In the second stage, specially developed processing system incorporates conditioning of raw materials during the process itself. Firstly the husk binding is loosened with dalls and in the second stage the two halves are separated from each other. And after such processing done on the whole toor, at the end of this process the split dall is spread under the sun to dry. The flavor of dall is retained by using natural sunlight to dry them. The toor dall is then cleaned in a computerized cleaning plant and when processed dall is ready, it is oiled with edible oil and packed in different bags on quantity basis accordingly. Advertisement policy Double morli is widely publicized through various advertisement mediums including slide shows in cinema halls, hoardings at some busy railway crossing, sponsoring events during some festivals, key chains, plastic bags, regular bags, spare wheel covers, and banners across the area selling grocery items. Also advertisements in the local and state newspapers and of course the internet and text advertisements on the cable TV. Cable TV advertisements (video) are in the pipe line and people are working on it. Key sales areas Anand is the biggest market for double morli and we are proud to say that its ranked number one in this place. Other markets include major cities of gujarat namely rajkot, surat, ahemedabad, bharuch and many more. Market in south India and the east like chennai and calcutta are currently our developing centre. Earlier we were planning for our own export cell and hence we did not directly export it ourselves. Instead private agents having their own export license do export double morli to various countries in the world under their brand name, the product being ours. Now we have our own export cell and are ready to take on orders, though the old options still remians. We can even have it packed in the buyers packing material with their logo |
