Soliman Enterprice
About us | Bedu silver cooperation is a start-up silver producer and distribution company. Its strategy is to serve the upscale niche markets of the silver industry. There are many untapped potential markets within this industry that desire high-quality, stylish goods, but do not think they can afford them or do not know where to purchase them. It is the firm's intention to build and export its products to the United States and to make Bedu silver the number one U.S. To do this the company's long-term goals are to to achieve a big market share in the U.S, build brand image and brand equity through marketing, achieve a sustainable 55% profit margin, and eventually produce luxury watches in addition to the initial, moderately-priced line. The Company Bedu Silver is a privately held international corporation. Production takes place in Egypt and sales and marketing are focused on the United States - Virginia - for the short-term future. Ownership is divided among two principal individuals who are putting up the initial investment. These include: Moataz Shafik - head of production department, Wael Soliman - head of American division and sales and marketing division. The Egyptian office is located at 132 Ard elgolf Heliopolise, Cairo Egypt. The Office is 3,00 square meters and should be large enough for the first three years of the company's growth. The Silver will be shipped to and distributed from Soliman Enterprise in Alexandria, Virginia. The silver will be initially sold in upscale hair salons in Maryland, Washington and Virginia in the first year targeting customers with high fashion view. Bedu sales force will consist of Salma and four freelancing sales representatives in four different salons. Order processing will be achieved through communication between Moataz Shafik in the U.S. and Karim Elgoharey in Egypt. The Products The initial product line will help reinvigorate the appreciation to the mixture between art & history of a culture that existed for hundreds if not thousands of years and on the verge of disappearance. Our brand will be focused entirely on reflecting the art history of the Bedouin culture. Each piece will be designed not only to reflect their unique cultural art work, but to suit the fashion statements around the world whether haute couture or casual. The pricing strategy will be to initially undercut our main competitors, using a market penetration strategy. Then, pricing will be adjusted to be directly competitive with the other major competitors. The price per piece is expected to be around $25-$150. The Market Entry into the high-end jewelry industry comes as a precious time. In 2002, 259 million ounces were consumed in the jewelry and silverware markets. For the first time in over a decade, there were virtually no net sales out of private-sector stocks, indicating some modest silver investment last year. This was the first time in over ten years that there was an increase in silver investment. Therefore, a company that can build a substantial brand image in this fashion industry gains a significant competitive advantage. |
