| About us | The company was founded in the year 1995 but officially registered in 1999 by Benoy Thapa who hails from Majhua Tea Estate in Darjeeling. His forefather was a tea laborer in the tea garden and so was his grandfather. The experience which he had with him, handed by his forefathers, directed him towards the possibility of serving his clients with quality teas from Darjeeling. Bandhana Chettri, partner of Thunderbolt Tea, comes from Orange Valley Tea Estate (previously known as Bloomfield Tea Estate). She worked as a tea agent for sometime and has experience of tea which has been in her blood. She later joined Thunderbolt Tea and is actively involved in sales and marketing. The company has been actively involved in helping the tea merchants get wholesale Darjeeling teas at a very competitive price, but without compromising in quality. Quite a number of merchants have laid their trust in us since we aim to help any tea business house whether big or small to meet their requirements with a fair deal.
