Alphachem
About us | AlphaChem's Refill Kits and Replacement Cartridges for Inkjet Printers are currently supplied to the market through 10 exclusive distributors nationwide. When AlphaChem became the biggest manufacturer and distributor in the large format printing and sublimation printing industry in Korea, we also became the leading corporation in the Korean digital printing market. Our rate of export growth has also increased steadily, from 0.8 million dollars worth of products in 2001, to 2.4 million dollars in 2001, and 3.8 million in 2002, while expanding the number of countries ordering our products, to 80. In the area of Inkjet ink products, we have developed and are distributing pigment inks, dye inks, sublimation inks, solvent-based inks, oil-based inks, as well as desk-jet refill kits and replacement cartridges for OA. In addition to these products, we will continue to complete our development of replaceable cartridges, bypass chips, and a bulk supply system in order to meet customers' demands for any type of ink and cartridges. In early 2003, the Digital Textile Printing system in order to start distributing acid ink, dispersion ink, and reaction ink to the market is now under supply In addition, we are in the process of developing UV ink, which is considered to be the output printing system of the next generation, for use with flatbed plotters of inkjets. When development is completed, we will be able to start offering this product to our customers. When UV ink joins the fine line of AlphaChem products, you can rest assured that we have developed all types of ink needed for digital printers, and will be able to provide our customers with any kind of world-class, high quality products or systems they demand. For the laser printer field, which is another major area in the digital printer industry along with inkjet printers, we have developed an OPC drum. This most essential part of laser printers resulted from two years of research and development, undertaken when the task force was organized in January 2000 for complete domestication of essential supplies and parts of laser printers. Since completion of the Pilot Project in October 2001, our production capacity has reached 20,000 package units per months, with completion of the construction work for the production facility, aimed at improving its capacity enabling up to a production of the 20 million package units(worth 20 billion won) on a monthly basis, the production line has been in its full swing since May this year. Our products are now being introduced into the various markets and are also enjoying the highest worldwide reputation in quality wise. Presently the 2nd OPC Production Line is under operation with the monthly estimated production capacity of 40 billion(worth 40 billion won). We, the Alphachem, is planning to organize and establish A production facility capable of producing 1 million per month in the near future. With these developments in business and technology as our springboard, we are taking aim at becoming the biggest corporation in Korea in the non-impact printing industry of inkjet and laser printers, while continuing to concentrate on the research and development of Electronic Inks and the Secondary Battery business. Our ongoing research efforts were rewarded in August 2001 by receiving an NT mark, the first awarded in this industry. |
