Dunwell-Petro Chemical Co., Ltd.
About us | The successful acquisition of the used oil re-refinery facility in August 1993 marked an important step to the development of Dunwell Petro-Chemical Co. Ltd.(DPCL). After more than a year's upgrade and improvement works, Dunwell has on March 16,1995 obtained a Waste Disposal Licence from the Hong Kong Government Environmental Protection Department, and became the first and only fully licenced used oil re-refinery plant in Hong Kong. The re-refinery process at Dunwell is considered by world experts as one of the most comprehensive and advanced in the field with production capacity of up to 50 metric tons per day. Used oil undergoes the processes of de-watering; de-fueling; and Wiped Film Evaporation which is the heart of the entire used oil re-refinery process. At high temperature and under vacuum, oil will be evaporated and condensed as very pure distillate. Internationally tested and recognized high quality base oil is therefore produced as raw materials for various lubricating oil. PRODUCT BLENDING& MARKETING DIVISION From the base oil produced by the Re-refinery Division, additive packages purchased from the world's major suppliers are used to blend different lubricating products - hydraulic oil, motor oil, metal cutting fluids, mould release agents and alike.
