Head office is in Vancouver, Canada, but also have branch offices in Seattle, Washington and Shanghai, China.

Emperor imports fresh fruit and vegetables from Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa. These goods are distributed to wholesalers and supermarket chainstores throughout Canada and the United States. Initially Emperor focussed on mushrooms, but now its product line includes numerous other specialty vegetables, tropical fruit and miniature vegetables. Emperor also distributes many different types of dry mushrooms packed in several different retail formats.

Emperor also exports wild mushrooms such as Chanterelle, Morel, Matsutake, Hedgehog Mushrooms and other varieties harvested in the forests of Canada.
