Halkon investments was set up as an investment vechile. It currently partners with other firms worldwide to source medium to long term project finance in emerging markets.
It provides consulting assistance in the areas of developing business ideas, business plans and feasibility studies, strategic planning, marketing perfomance management and financial control
It also acquires and invests mainly in companies that have been in operation for several years (however it also plays in start-ups on a case by case basis). It is also in the process of funding a private equity firm.
