IGA Bioresearch was founded in 2002 by Dr. Takuo Sakai, Professor Emeritus of Osaka Prefecture University. In a 30+ year career as a professor and research scientist, Dr. Sakai has developed over 100 internationally patented products and processes. As many of these patents have practical applications in a variety of industries, Dr. Sakai and his colleagues decided to form IGA Bioresearch in order to put this technology to use. The primary mission of IGA is to use science in ways that benefit companies as well as the environment. |
