Gold Leaf has been a traditional craftwork with a history of over 1700 years in China. It takes unprocessed gold as main material, and makes it a gold sheet thinner than 0.11 micron through certain processing technique. The sheet features pure luster, even thickness, and invariant color and signifies riches and honors. Copper foil is also called clutch gold. Thanks to its lower price and brighter luster pared to gold foil, it has been a kind of necessary foils to decorate art frames, potteries, appliques, tableware, furniture, and temples through gliding technology at a thickness of 0.5-0.8 microns.
