Jiaoda Kunji High-Tech Company Limited is a Hong Kong listing company. One major subsidiary, Kunming Machine tools Plant, is Chinese leading manufacturer of machine tools specializing in boring and milling machines and CNC machine centers. Its predecessor was Central Machine Plants established in 1937.

There are more than 2,500 employees,150 of which work in R&D field. The plant possesses high-class manufacturing technology and facilities. Turnover in 2003 was over RMB 200 millions. There are 1002 production equipments, of which 640 sets are metal-cuttings and 106 sets are key equipments. The Plant set up complete quality assurance system and passed the attestation of ISO9001:2000.
