The company was founded by Mr. Kishor Shah in 1978 in the city of Unjha situated in North Gujarat which is considered to be the world famous market for cumin seeds. Envisioning the market potentiality and scope, Mr.Shah revamped the opportunity and started supplying spices to various Indian markets of Punjab, U.P., southern states and Maharashtra. For him Sky was the limit. Having their head office at Unjha and branch at Mumbai, K.B.Sons has not only gained its hold on local markets but also has a good position in their market share of international spice industry. Today, K.B.Sons also has their own registered trademark known as Sahakar Brand which has its existence for more than a decade.
