Central nano research center(cnrc)

Cnrc, the center for nano technology, is located in the sungnam industrial area near seoul, korea. Cncr is focusing on mainly research for hair-care and body-care items including basic skin-care products. Moreover, the center has emphasized positively on stabilizing emulsions or developing new products utilizing advanced formulation of drug delivery. Now, cncr is now striving to develop specialized cosmetics which applies nanosome. Furthermore, the center is chasing new formulation of drug delivery for expediting transcutaneous observance of activating components to obtain stable efficacy and to restrain absorption of stimulating material. According to the absolute necessity of scientific data, which proves the cosmetic functions, we are currently pursuing a research project to calculate effect and efficacy, checking skin penetration, cell culture testing and others to become recognized more objectively and scientifically about the effect and efficacy.

In particular, cncr is conducting research projects of development of new materials such as natural active materials obtained from plants and research for stabilization of those materials, and increasing the process for effect and efficacy through fermentation. Using nano technology as well as the newly-developed materials, we can localize many cosmetic raw materials so that we may lessen our dependence on imported raw materials and increase our value added.

Applying recently developed instruments and technology, we are also conducting a study on anti ageing, which is based on accurate measurements and testing. Cncr is appraising the function of each raw material using various analyzing instruments and is conducting consistent research for effect and efficacy to decrease wrinkles or increase resiliency in the direction of scientific test and quantitative measurements with an image picture processor and measuring instruments for skin's resilience. Also cncr is trying towards new technology development of innovative hair-care items exploiting nano technology for skin-care or hair-care and for better cosmetics quality.
