Liquid Blue Visions is still in the development phase. I am gathering leads on potential merchandise and key system components.
My target consumer segments such as Gen-X & Gen-whY are getting used to soft display viewing and sharing from digital capture devices and they will not move the majority of their digital images down the chain into prints unless there is an easy, affordable means of getting prints at convenient retail locations.
Photo kiosk sales are expected to demonstrate a CAGR of 16% over the forecast period from 2002 to 2007. InfoTrends' forecast shows that input terminal kiosks are beginning to proliferate as a front-end to digital minilabs, and print station kiosks are a critical bridge to the digital world where digital minilabs do not yet exist.
My digital kiosk will cost between $5,000 and $10,000. It will likely include broadband and wireless options, have a small footprint and be extensible.
