| About us | The company initially was involved in industrial control and digital printing systems, however new market demands in digital printing made the company to get involved solely with digital printing and manufacturing of Jet printers. The Managers and Engineers with their business and technical expertise created and approved specification for an industrial jet printer based on a British piezo DOD printer head. The R&D team designed and manufactured according to the specification and finally the Metsa jet printer P2128 came into existence. Following the success of P2128 a prototype of an egg jet printer specialized for egg farms was produced using DOD technology. Ten prototype units were installed on farms, which were using CIJ printers using pneumatic jacks to move a single print head over the egg tray. At the end of the trial period all farmers preferred Metsa jet DOD egg jet printers as opposed to CIJ technology due to the high resolution of the print, a noiseless operation offered by using 5 print heads and lower price of print per egg. Since the quality has always been the first priority of Metsa it received ISO9001 certification from DQS and IQNET in March 2000. The company policy is to provide quality service and manufacture products that are durable to enable the company to expand its operations all over the Middle East and beyond. As Metsa printers became popular all over Middle East the main head office(Honaz FZCO) moved to the United Arab Emirates in the Jebel Ali free zone, enjoying the free zone advantages while offering a better service to its customers. Honaz FZCO by joining forces with Sorveh Co. A Canadian company, entered in to new frontiers in the printing industry. Using technical expertise from North America a new wide format out door printer was developed using the same British print head technology as P2128 and the egg jet printer. |
